AYAM coconut cream is widely used in many Asian dishes. It can also be used as a substitute for milk or cream in western dishes such as carbonara pasta. The tetra Pak allows a longer storage of the product. AYAM coconut cream does not contain lactose.
To get the coconut cream, you have to grind the flesh of a mature coconut. This flesh must then be boiled, filtered and put in tetra pak. This is the same operation as for obtaining coconut milk but with a longer evaporation time.
