The coconut cream is obtained after extraction of the white flesh of a mature coconut. The flesh is crushed, boiled, filtered and canned. Coconut cream differs from coconut milk in the length of time the coconut meat is brought to a boil. To obtain the coconut cream, a longer boiling time is required to obtain a higher level of coconut extract.
