For 6 people
- 1 / 2 cucumber cut into slightly salted slice (about a 1 / 2 teaspoon of salt)
- 1 minced onion
- 400g of rice cooked, japanese or basmati according to your preference
- 1 tablespoon of grilled sesame seeds
- 1 nori sheet
- 1 tinned canned tuna
- 1 tablespoon fish broth (or dashi)
- 1 tablespoon of vinegar
- 3 tablespoons of water
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce AYAM ™
Mixing & Preparation
Step 1. Mix together the fish broth (or dashi), vinegar, water, soy sauce and sugar in a small bowl. Stir until the sugar melts completely. Then mix the rice with the sauce obtained. The sushi rice is ready.
Step 2 .Place a sheet of nori on the bamboo mat and put some rice on one side of the nori sheet.
Step 3. Place cucumber strips and pieces of tuna along the length. Place the onion and sesame seeds thinly along the length as well.
Step 4. Roll using the bamboo mat. Moisten the edge of the nori leaf with a little water so that it completely seals the roll thus obtained. It becomes easy quickly with a little practice! Place the roll on a cutting board and cut into slices of 2 cm thick.
Serve sushi with some side dishes such as ginger, wasabi, soy sauce or miso soup.
