- 70 ml oyster sauce AYAM
- 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce AYAM
- 2 teaspoons of brown sugar
- 1 crushed garlic clove
- 1 teaspoon ofsesame oil AYAM
- 2 tablespoons of water
- 2 bouquets of Gai Lan (Chinese broccoli)
- 1 tablespoon grilled sesame seeds
Step 1. In a small saucepan, combine oyster sauce, vegetable oil, soy sauce, sugar, garlic, sesame oil and water. Heat over low heat and stir until the mixture is hot. To put out the fire.
Step 2. Cut the tails of the broccoli then slice them lengthwise. Bring a large pot of water to a boil over high heat. Add broccoli, extinguish and whiten for 2-3 minutes or until stems are tender.
Step 3. Drain well and place on a serving dish. Pour the sauce over the broccoli and garnish with sesame seeds.
Tips: Use other Asian vegetables for recipe - buk choy, choy pak, choy sum, broccolini or asparagus.
